Dr. Druid investigates the disappearance of several houses, and finds that an alien disguised as a scientist is to blame.

A wealthy man urges his unambitious gardener to go into business for himself, his diligence saves the world when he snips a radioactive telepathic weed while it rests. His employer realizes that everyone has their own part to play.

Humans are distressed to discover that the Venusians believe them to be hostile and have built robots to destroy any expedition that lands. A humble janitor thinks of building identical robots, reasoning that the Venusian's robots will not attack things like themselves, allowing peaceful contact to be made.

A man gets rid of a elderly blackmailer by putting peppermint candies in his drink and telling him it was arsenic and letting fear go to work on the old man's heart.
