FOC REPORT #3 (1/27/2025)

This column will highlight items solicited each week during FOC that could be potential points of interest. Either brand new series, or something I think might deserve more attention (sometimes positive attention, sometimes not). These items are scheduled to ship to the store in about 3 weeks, but you should order them now to make sure that you get your copies (you can do so over here).

Remember, pre-ordering is your friend and ours. There are lots of items that we don't normally order or order only in small quantities. If there's something you really want, place an order with us! For more information on becoming one of our many happy comic subscribers, check out this page.

Now that that's all out of the way, let's get into this week's books. It's taken me a little extra time here today to get everything up. I've been so busy today, I accidentally put up the ratios on a few books. Yikes. Glad nobody saw that. But now you're reading about it, so I don't know how to feel.

Interestingly Batman Dark Patterns #1 get's a second printing. If you missed out on the first from us, now's a good time to grab your copy. They haven't revealed the cover yet, though I'm sure it'll be a nice one.

Dynamite's Herculoids is up for order! I don't really know what it is- I imagine it's similar to Space Ghost and Thundercats and Jonny Quest. Another throwback to that 80s era of cartoons in comic form.

We're tossing some Marvel Rivals Comic Boxes up on pre-order this week! Now they look expensive, and they are compared to our NoName brand white comic boxes... but you get 5 BOXES in a bundle for $75. You can stash all of your comics in a Marvel Rivals box- next to your PlayStation while you play Marvel Rivals.

Zatanna #1 is up for order. There's some really nice covers here- Bachalo and Talaski in particular I like a lot!

Usagi Yojimbo: Ten Thousand Plums #1 features the return of fan-favorite character, Gen!

For the Star Wars sequel fans out there, Star Wars The Rise Of Skywalker is finally being adapted into comic form. I'm sure there'll be some kind of first appearance in this book. Cover B features a photo from the movie, and it's reminiscent of the old photo covers for Phantom Menace.

We sold so many Rogue The Savage Land #1s that Marvel decided to do a 2nd printing featuring Adam Hughes. It's the same as the foil cover, without the foil. Nice! Issue #2 is up for order this week too, and the covers that are currently available look quite promising.

...That's about all I've got this week. Feels light, but some weeks are just like that.
