A werewolf and a vampire make a lovely couple, but the local villagers aren't too thrilled with them. The villagers finally track down the monsters that have been hunting people and manage to kill them. But, love will always win, and the werewolf and vampire rise from the dead (again, in the vampire's case, I guess) and are married in the presence of ghouls and zombies. Nine months later, a baby girl is born: EC's own Old Witch.
To Emma's distress, her husband, Stuart, won't agree to help anybody for any reason. Not a starving boy, a stray dog, his impoverished old business partner. Nobody. He won't even pay enough money to help Emma's own mother recover from an illness. As a result, the mother dies and Emma snaps. She accuses Stuart of being ice-hearted. The solution? An ice-pick.
When their plane has to make an emergency landing in the middle of the ocean, a group of people barely make it into a life-raft before the plane goes under. Soon, though, they spot a large steamship in the distance and manage to row their way to it. But, the ship is deserted, and they soon find out why. There's a strange green fungus covering everything, and it isn't long until it devours two members of the party. The last two survivors make it to the raft and cast off, but it's too late. The fungus has already infected the raft.
Horace, a white Bengal lancer, is visiting his uncle's Indian compound. Horace really wants to hunt the wild boars he sees all over the place, but his uncle informs him that the boars are held as sacred animals by the local people. But, arrogant Horace has made up his mind, and he surprises his uncle with a roast boar for dinner. Angered, a local man then hunts Horace, with similar results. He even serves a roasted Horace at the uncle's dinner table.
A comet is speeding towards Earth, and even though it misses the planet, its radioactivity sterilizes the whole human race. After unsuccessfully trying to reverse the effect, scientists are able to build a time machine. The problem is that they will only be able to open a portal to the past one single time. It will be invisible, but it will pull in anybody that passes through it. And, it works...sorta. They only seem to be catching men. One of the scientists uses the portal to travel back in time and immediately diagnoses the problem. The portal had opened inside a men's washroom. Oops.
Space travel is being held up by one big problem: living creatures can't seem to survive the rapid acceleration required for takeoff. Then, they hit upon the idea of "quick-freezing" astronauts and thawing them out once they're underway. As the first mission approaches, the commander of the mission, Lon, plans to bring his mistress, Edith, with him by freezing her and hiding her on the ship prior to takeoff. The plan works and, as the ship flies through space, Lon pulls frozen, brittle Edith from her hiding place and begins to carry her to the "thawer". Then, he trips and drops her. Big mess.
Dan is an astronaut, and his son, Jimmy's, idol. But, Jimmy wishes Dan would stop risking his life and stay at home with his family. Dan promises that the next mission will be his last, but something goes wrong while in space. The spaceship is destroyed and Dan finds himself floating towards Earth. Gravity gets a hold on Dan and he plummets through the atmosphere, burning up brightly on re-entry. Jimmy sees the "shooting star" and wishes for his father's safe return.
It's Easter, and Teddy is hunting for the eggs his parents hid in the backyard. He finds a brightly painted egg, but his parents don't remember hiding that one. Anyhow, that night, the egg talks to Teddy and asks him to bring it somewhere safe, like a cave. Once that's done, the blob-like thing that hatched from the egg demands meat for it to grow. Once it's big enough, though, it begins hunting its own meals, like cattle and people. As it terrorizes the countryside, the army moves in and manages to destroy the creature. But, that wasn't the only egg...
