Shipping policy

1. SHIPPING METHODS & RATES

In-Store Pickup (FREE)
Pick up your order at our Hamilton location during regular business hours. You'll receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup (typically within 1-2 business days). Please do not arrive before the email notification has gone out.

We ask that you pick up your order within 4 weeks of placing it. If 4 weeks passes, the order may be returned to shelf and refunded. Trust me - we love money! We just don't love hanging onto items for long periods of time.

Store Hours:
Monday - Friday: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
(Hours subject to change on holidays)

UPS Shipping
We ship using UPS standard tracked service. We offer flat rate shipping - whether you order 1 comic or 10 comics, the shipping price stays the same!


2. PROCESSING TIME

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days of purchase. Processing time is separate from shipping time and may be extended during:
• New comic release weeks (Wednesdays)
• Major sales events
• Holiday periods
• Special pre-order item releases

PLEASE NOTE: Pre-order items and special orders may have longer processing times. Expected availability dates will be listed at checkout.


3. SHIPPING DESTINATIONS

Domestic Shipping: We ship to all provinces and territories within Canada.

International Shipping: We offer international shipping to the United States only. International customers outside the US interested in our products should contact us directly at the store for special arrangements.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

4. PACKAGING STANDARDS

Your collectibles deserve proper protection, we take great care in packaging all orders:

Comics & Graphic Novels
• Individual issues are bagged and boarded when applicable
• Comics shipped in rigid cardboard mailers or boxes
• Extra protection for graded/slabbed comics (CGC, CBCS, etc.)

Trading Cards
• Cards protected in top loaders or card savers when applicable
• Graded cards receive additional padding and protection
• Bubble wrap and void fill used as needed

Statues, Figures & Larger Items
• Bubble wrap or kraft paper where necessary
• Original manufacturer packaging preserved when possible


5. ORDER TRACKING

Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with:
• Tracking number
• Link to track your package
• Estimated delivery date

You can also track your order by logging into your account on our website.


6. SHIPPING DELAYS

While we strive for timely delivery, shipping times are estimates and may be affected by:
• Weather conditions
• UPS service disruptions
• Remote delivery locations
• High volume periods (holidays, sales events)
• Customs processing (for international shipments to the US)


7. MISSING OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

Lost Packages
If your tracking information shows your package as delivered but you haven't received it:
1. Check with neighbours and household members
2. Look for delivery notices from UPS
3. Contact us within 7 days and we'll help investigate

Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged:
1. DO NOT DISCARD THE PACKAGING - we may need photos for distribution claims
2. Take photos of the damaged box and contents
3. Contact us immediately with photos and order details
4. We'll arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate

IMPORTANT: Damage claims must be reported within 3 days of delivery to be eligible for compensation.


8. UNDELIVERABLE PACKAGES

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempts:
• We'll contact you to verify the correct address
• Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment
• Orders returned due to customer address errors are subject to a restocking fee

PLEASE ENSURE YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS IS CORRECT BEFORE COMPLETING YOUR ORDER.


9. SPECIAL ORDER & PRE-ORDER ITEMS

Pre-order items and special orders ship separately from in-stock items to ensure you receive available products promptly. Our system will not allow you to check out with both in-stock and pre-order items in the same cart.

Separate shipping charges may apply depending on whether or not you want those orders shipped.

We do not offer combined shipping. Each order ships when ready, which helps ensure you receive your items promptly rather than waiting extended periods for pre-orders to arrive.


10. SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

For customers with pull list subscriptions or regular standing orders:
• Items can be held for in-store pickup
• Monthly shipping arrangements can be made (contact us for details)


11. RETURNS & EXCHANGES

For information about returning or exchanging shipped items, please refer to our Return Policy. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.
