Tony Stark is worried about the theft of his invention but he can't tell Bill what it was for, for security reasons. Later, Stilt-Man robs a bank, and his Z-Ray causes Black Goliath, Celia Jackson, and her nephew Keith to vanish.

The Red Skull wants to take over the United States before the bicentennial and uses the Cosmic Cube to transport Captain America to him. Captain America foils his plans when he gives the Cosmic Cube a Hostess Twinkie and it stops obeying the Red Skull.
