Dazzler decides to make a go of becoming a professional singer. She auditions at a local disco but her competition turns out to be none other than the Enchantress. When the club owner picks Ali over Amora, the Enchantress gets really, really mad.

Direct sales only and with no corner box. Fred Snyder reports that there are two versions: 1) the common direct sales regular issue (no apparent errors), and 2) a direct sales-only copy with no color printed on pages 24 (Marvel X-Mas subscription ad) and 25 (in-house ad for Dazzler comics).

  • - Signature dated 1979.
  • So Bright This Star - Credits read "Conceived by Alice Donenfeld, John Romita Jr. and Jim Shooter with some help from Stan Lee, Al Milgrom, Roger Stern and Tom DeFalco". (John Buscema was called for help to draw the Dazzler character of the splash page of this issue. He came to John Romita studio to redrew her because they wanted her to look like Bo Derek supposed to star in an upcoming movie. His drawing was inked by Bob McLeod and a copy was pasted above another one of the John Romita Jr already drawn page. This was confirmed by Bob McLeod and you can see all of this in Comic Feature# 7. The Original by John Buscema and Bob McLeod always exists in some original art collector gallery).
  • Daredevil Vs. Johnny Punk! - Comics ad for Hostess Fruit Pies from Continental Baking Company.
