Adam Van Helsing is a U.S. Senator, but it has been ten years since anyone has seen his father, Pendragon, or Vampirella. Meanwhile, the forces of darkness have taken over the night in Washington D.C. Most people are afraid to go out after dark. Ethan Shroud, the leader of the night's Unseelie Congress sets his sights on a schoolgirl named Chelsea.
Senator Van Helsing's secretary is killed as a warning that the forces of darkness are still watching him. Meanwhile, Ethan Shroud reminisces about his victory over Vampirella ten years ago and misses the challenge. He poses as Chelsea's uncle to contact her and takes partial control of her mind. Later, he sends her a Vampirella costume.
Shroud sends a gang led by Toomey to kidnap Chelsea, but they are encountered by elderly Miss Normandy. When they attack, she bites the necks of some of the men and drains their blood. The blood transforms Miss Normandy back into a younger Vampirella.
Adam sets out to kill Ethan Shroud, but on the way he meets Vampirella again for the first time in ten years.
